Alexander needs you

poster benefit

This Sunday, February 21st, in the Adeje Cultural Centre the “Amigos de Alexander”,or Friends of Alexander are holding a benefit gala day from 11am to 3pm to help this five month old baby who suffers from hemimegalencephaly , a condition which means his brain grows asymmetrically leading to severe epilepsy.
Tickets for the event are €5 with the money going to fund an operation in Barcelona to help the child. The council are working together with a group of artists to produce what should be a great day’s entertainment with a host of local singers and dancers, Roxy (who represented Adeje in La Voz) and the Cobbler Band.
There will also be performances by acrobats, laughs with the Oscar Silver Show, a Latin Fever dance spectacular, jugglers, and much more.
The gala is open to the general public, under 12s are free, and during the afternoon there will also be face painting, balloon modelling, and much more on offer to entertain younger family members.
