The Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque in Adeje has won the prestigious Condé Nast Johansen Best Destination Hotel title for 2014.
Adeje mayor Jose Miguel Rodríguez Fraga congratulated the hotel for their achievement, saying “it shows yet again that quality has its own rewards. We have backed this tourism model for over twenty years, and it has been a key element in the continued success of the destination in the current crisis. Congratulations to the hotel, our flagship model, which, more than anything, represents the values we support and will continue to support”:
The prize was accepted on behalf of the hotel by the director general, Santiago Cabré, who thanked everyone for their work in winning the title, “because it is thanks to your impeccable work that our clients can appreciate the value of exclusivity, the excellence of the service and the personal treatment we offer”:
The Condé Nast Johansen Awards for Excellence are recognised as a world class quality mark among five star clients and tourism professionals. Prizes are awarded as are result of client feedback and Condé Nast Johansen inspections of hotels that feature in their publications.
