The band sold over 120 million albums and won the hearts and souls of millions of fans all over the world. Those fans were in need of a replacement so some of the original members – Alan Clark, Chris White and Phil Palmer – formed The Straits, staging a show in The Royal Albert Hall in 2011. Knopfler was now enjoying a successful solo career so Clark called on Terence Reis to be the front man, and within three and a half years they had played 150 concerts in 25 countries around the world.
