Mayor asked people to continue to help in search for clues in Carmelo disappearance!
The Adeje mayor, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga has asked the population to continue to keep an eye out for any clues regarding the disappearance of Carmelo Díaz who hasn’t been seen or heard from since November 9th.
“The disappearance of our neighbour has caused consternation among the people of the town; there have been no clues to indicate where Carmelo might be. It is a desperate situation for his family to whom I send my heartfelt sympathies for the very difficult times they are living through and particularly at the moment, with Christmas approaching, normally a time of celebration”, said the mayor.
He reminded people that if they do see anything, no matter how small, that might be linked to the missing man, to call 112 or the local police central office on 922 716508.
Carmelo was last seen on the afternoon of November 9th. He shopped in Sagrera Canarias de Adeje, and was spotting walking towards his home in La Postura, near the Los Olivos Residents Association offices. At the time he was wearing orange shorts, a green shirt, black shoes and yellow-tinted glasses.
