Spanish Father’s day is March 19th and this year the Adeje commercial sector are offering prizes for people who shop in the borough during the month, under the theme (translated), My Father is…Nº1 (mi padre es…un puntasso).
“With this campaign we are continuing our commitment to the commercial sector which has been growing in recent years given the good working relationship between the private sector and the council, and has helped in the creation of new jobs, said economic development councillor Manuel Luis Méndez Martín.
Among the prizes on offer will be a cruise for two persons with MSC Cruceros. During the month at certain points in the borough people who are shopping in participating stores will be invited to record a video message congratulating their father. The most original message will be the overall winner, and the person making the message will also get their money back from the original purchase. Those wishing to participate also need to download the application, El Puntasso, in their phones and make sure the barcode on their relevant purchases have been scanned.
The next photo call points where messages can be recorded will be in the Plaza César Manrique on March 10th and in the Parque de Peidra Redonda on March 12th.
Adeje council reminds consumers to always keep receipts in case of returns, and always check conditions of purchase, especially if there are special offers.
