The Adeje department of creative development, under councillor Adolfo Alonso Ferrera, is bringing comedy back to the stage this September for the second year running with the ‘Adeje je je’ festival of laughs, continuing to promote theatre as a tool for cultural enrichment.
The councillor stressed that “cultural activities help us reinforce the importance of creativity and creative development. In Adeje we are constantly working to offer initiatives that appeal to all sectors of the public and we know that comedy is always in demand, something we saw last year. That’s why we have decided to mount the festival for the second year running, bringing laughter to the theatre during the month of September.
The comedy nights will be on four Fridays during next month, the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of September, in the Adeje Cultural Centre theatre, from 8.30pm. Tickets will be on sale in the centre or at the door on the night. All works are in Spanish.
